Efficient, Sustainable Growth

It’s what I do.

For the past 12 years, I have worked in various marketing roles all with one focus in mind: increase workforce efficiencies to maximize budget dollars, labor hours, and revenue growth.

With sustainable & scalable strategies, I optimize not just tactical level marketing outputs, but the resource-to-revenue ratio overall.

Top Qualities

Marketing Expertise

With 12 years experience in digital marketing, I bring expert-level knowledge to the digital environment. Not just a t-shaped marketer, but rather, I possess a deep knowledge across a large number of digital marketing disciplines (don’t worry, I go into detail below).

Leadership Focus

I love to lead people to accomplish both their personal and professional goals. I believe investing in people is investing in the business. After all, a “company” is just a collection of people. The more my people succeed, the more the business succeeds.

Results
Driven

I build systems that produce long-term revenue far outpacing the original launch efforts. Favoring a process of inbound marketing, automated lead nurturing, and continual optimization, I have achieved significant hands-off growth for multiple years after initial launch.

1,366% Increase in Affiliate Sales

I was given control of the affiliate program when I began working with my current company. It was in a sorry state with outdated advertising resources, unproductive affiliates, and dysfunctional tracking.

I immediately launched an email campaign and started working with individual affiliates, which resulted in a 438% increase in revenue that first year. Since then, I have continually optimized the compensation structure, expanded recruiting methods & resources, and rewrote much of the affiliate marketing materials.

As a result, the program earned 1,366% more revenue in the past twelve months than the year before I took it over.

159% Campaign Goal Achievement

I lead the digital marketing team for a travel insurance company. We were looking to amp up our lead gen during the slow travel season (Oct-Nov), so I developed a lead generation marketing campaign with the goal of attaining 2,000 new leads. By the close of the campaign, we brought in 3,161 new leads. Almost 50% were sales qualified leads.

The campaign was a $5,000 trip giveaway, so I had my team work closely with a few different travel bloggers to hit a targeted audience. We gained exposure in one of their large email newsletters, each of the blogs, and all of their social media profiles. We also promoted the campaign on our own blog, social profiles, email lists, and listed it on a few contest aggregator websites.

Ancillary accomplishments included 1,074 new Twitter followers (28% increase) and a CPL 33% lower than what I had projected.

76% Increased Revenue from Email

A while back in my current company, email revenue was lagging well behind other sources. So, I initiated a concerted effort to change that picture.

Over the next year and a half, I led my team to create a number of high-value lead magnets. These alone substantially increased evergreen lead growth. I also worked with developers to get a daily list of people who had abandoned the insurance quote process the previous day. Finally, I put my content team to work creating a large number of emails to be used for drip campaigns.

Revenue grew as we implemented the various efforts, but really took off the following year as everything was settled and we switched to optimizing. This led to a revenue increase of 76% over the course of the year.
